Lisa Lynn

Lisa Lynn born 31/12/1987 is an award-winning actor/singer/improviser from Warrington, Cheshire in the UK. She graduated with a First Class Honours in Music Theatre from UCLAN in 2009 and went on to specialize in acting - training across London and LA with: AMTA, Bernard Hiller, Kingdom School of Arts, HOOPLA and Anthony Meindl - spanning Meisner, Physical Theatre, PEM, Screen Acting and improv. She believes if you are not getting better you are getting bitter! Lisa is qualified in Stage Combat, and is a classically trained soprano; she enjoys all types of dance; and recently started stand up comedy and Wing Tsun. As a director and improviser (since 2015), Lisa founded and Co-Directs Acaprov: The Improvised A Cappella Musical and Co-Directs Multiverse: An Improvised Musical, as well as performing regularly across the London Comedy Scene and International Improv scene with Acaprov, Multiverse, MusicBox and Hell Yeah! Lisa also Guest Directs for Bedazzle Arts Charity in Cambridge, and proudly works for the Flying Seagull Project. Working class, Lisa is also a fully qualified teacher of the Performing Arts and supports her acting career working as a Supply Teacher, Lecturer and Workshop Leader teaching at over 50 schools across London including the BRIT School; and teaching workshops online and across the world. Lisa won 'THE STAGE: Best Actor - Ensemble Award' 2015 as 'Britannia/Nicola Sturgeon/Ensemble' in UKIP! The Musical; had the 'Hollywood Fringe: Best International Show' award and Encore Awards dedicated to her for MacDeth 2016; and played lead in 'New Years Day Film' which made Official Selection at Bucharest ShotCut CineFest (Nominated Best Film), Official Selection Birmingham Film Festival (Nominated Best Short Film) and Official Selection The Monthly Film Festival and the Watford Short Film Festival 2019.
