Toni Alexander began her acting career as a student in high school, performing in many plays including "The Mousetrap" and "Dark of the Moon." She went on to UC Irvine as a drama and fine arts major and was a member of the Irvine Repertory Company where she performed in a series of shows that involved major well known actors including Bob Gunton and Dennis Hopper. She attended UCLA for graduate school. While at UCLA, she began singing (in a duo act) in local nightclubs and made an album of original music with Barry Fasman, a highly-revered Hollywood music arranger. She left the entertainment business for advertising. It was there that she met Cherie Kerr, then an aspiring actress/comedian, and part-time public relations specialist. They became great friends and now twenty years later have reconnected for Cherie's first movie production.
