Dan Godlin is an actor and singer-songwriter born in Houston, Texas and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Dan began his acting career in 2012 with a role in the American teen comedy film G.B.F. as high school jock Cameron Woods (not far off from his own high school days as captain of the football and wrestling teams). Since then, Godlin has been seen in feature films, popular TV shows, and numerous commercials. Dan is also a professional pop/rock singer-songwriter with two full length albums, one EP, and multiple singles. Dan's songs have aired on many TV shows including Major Crimes (TNT), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!), The Challenge (MTV), The Vineyard (ABC Family), and Degrassi (TeenNick); and within various films including Suicide Note (Lifetime), Winter Wedding (Lifetime), and the trailer of the Hong Kong major motion picture Women Who Flirt. Most recently Dan was seen on tour as the opening act for chart-topping boy band of the early 2000s, O-Town, on their comeback tour of the U.S. and Canada. Godlin was serious about music from a very young age, beginning with classical piano when he was five, picking up the guitar at 10, and writing original compositions by the age of 12. Despite his high school sports achievements and the alluring Ivy League football scholarship opportunities, Dan decided to follow his passion of music while pursuing a bachelor's degree from NYU. Shortly after graduating Cum Laude in 2012, Dan became the opening act for artists such as Howie Day, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, and Anna Nalick. Godlin's debut album garnered a spot on the Top 20 "Hot AC" radio charts and reached the #3 spot on iHeartRADIO's "New!" countdown. He was named Channel One's Artist of the Month and was later nominated for Artist of the Year. Other notable performances throughout Godlin's music career include opening for Matt Nathanson, Colbie Caillat, and Plain White T's at the renowned Live In The Vineyard Festival and showcasing at Hollywood's Annual MUSEXPO conference. He released three new singles in 2018, including one of his most popular songs to date, "Demolition Heart". Dan is currently based in New York City, where he is often mistaken for Prince Harry, Ed Sheeran, and Elmo. He is represented by Alison Caiola Management and Stewart Talent.
