Ryan Binse is an award winning producer based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Ryan departed the Lone Star State by way of the United States Navy. During his deployments at sea, he spent the majority of his down time watching films and writing screenplays. This is where he found his love for visual storytelling. After obtaining his undergrad in nuclear engineering, a new promotion to First Class Petty Officer, and serving honorably for over eleven years, Ryan decided to take the leap into producing full-time. In his first year of civilian life, he completed the Certificate in Producing program at UCLA and was accepted to the American Film Institute Conservatory where he earned his Master Of Fine Arts degree in Producing. During his time at AFI, he gained the experience of all physical aspects of producing while participating in the industry's most competitive internship programs such as HBO's summer internship in Programming and in development at Silver Pictures/Dark Castle Entertainment. Upon graduating AFI, Ryan was a temporary assistant to mega-producer, Joel Silver, while delivering his thesis film, A Rodeo Film, that went on to win the DGA Grand Prize, was a finalist in the HBO Short Film Competition at The American Black Film Festival, and won the Golden Tadpole at Camerimagé 2020. Ryan is currently a producer with Media & Entertainment Distribution at The Walt Disney Company.
