Celeste Stoney is an American musical recording artist, actress, producer and songwriter signed to her own record label, Level Music Entertainment and Peermusic. She was born Felicia Celeste Scalone in Phoenix, Arizona and was later raised in Los Angeles. Her parents, Michelle Sparrow, an accounting professional, and Alan Scalone, an entrepreneur, divorced when she was very young. As a child, all Celeste wanted was to become a singer. Influenced by greats like, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Aerosmith, Mariah Carey, Pink, Lily Allen, Adele and Beyonce her songs have attitude, grit, emotion and a strong message. Her sound ranges from a mix of pop/soul to big emotional soulful pop power ballads. She got her start in as a demo singer and songwriter working with the Grammy Award winning producer 7 Aurelius. As her first release in 2003, was a feature with Ja Rule on the song Ja Rule: Murder Reigns (2003). Celeste has appeared as a Semi-Finalist on Hollywood Eliminations: Part 2 (2006) and a finalist on Making the Band 3 (2005). She won 1st place in the USA Songwriting Competition and has written for several artist including; Katy Perry, Pink, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Alexandra Burke, Bobby Brown, Foxy Brown, Harry James Byart, Ja Rule, Jessica Sanchez and Raekwon among others. Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton says, "Celeste Stoney reminds us of Pink" and CNN says, "Thank you! There is a female who brings true music back." Celeste debut single, "My Kinda Crazy" gained industry buzz performing to sold out shows in LA and culminating in an invitation to perform at the Los Angeles chapter Grammy Showcase to open up for Grammy Award-winning artist, The Weeknd. Celeste has written and performed song for several television shows including, the song "Sisters" on The Bold Type (2017), "Living A Lie", "Mirror" & "Miracle" on Monogamy (2018) and the end credit song and "Shadows Come Alive" for the Amazon Prime documentary, Obscene Beauty (2020). Continuing to regularly release music, her single, "Camouflage", is a power ballad about domestic abuse. "My Kinda Crazy" embodies the ups and downs of a lasting, monogamous relationship and Kool (2015) is redefining what it means to be 'cool'. Her single, "Dumb" is a wake up call about the state of the country and is released with a satire laced music video shedding light on real issues. Celeste is an on camera and voice over actress and she was a stand in for Jessica Biel in the movie The Truth About Emanuel (2013). Celeste is married to actor Ray Stoney and they have 3 kids together.
