Jabbz Farooqi is an actor, model and filmmaker of south-Asian descent. His most recent guest appearance was on CW show "Emily Owens M.D". Growing up in a strict educational environment where his parents sent him to private schools, and watching movies was not encouraged at home, he managed to get few guest appearances as a child actor at age 12 when a national TV show were auditioning at his school. But it wasn't until high school, when he started watching Hollywood action films and was inspired by Ted Kotcheff's "First Blood" that he decided to pursue career in film and television. After finishing University with a major in commerce, he was first accepted at New York Film Academy (NYFA) but ended up graduating from Victoria Motion Picture School (now Pacific Design Academy) in the motion picture production program. Upon graduation, he realized that there were no work permit and immigration programs for film students, so he decided to dedicate a few years as a marketing director in the private and public sector and is now proud to be a Canadian Citizen. Having a primary interest in Acting, he recently graduated from Vancouver based SchoolCreative's full time "Acting for Film, TV & Voice-Over Intensive" program and continues to train with the city's best acting coaches. Jabbz is looking forward to his career growing both nationally and internationally.
