Samuel Grandchamp is a Writer, Director, Producer, Cinematographer. He is a Graduate Film student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he received the Martin Scorsese Young Filmmakers Scholarship. Raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Samuel directed his first film in 2009, "Le Grand Détournement Artamis", an award-winning short documentary, before completing a BS in Macroeconomics from HEC Lausanne. His film "Calle Guise" premiered at the 2014 Winterthur International Short Film Festival and was featured in the Best Swiss Short Films of 2014. His latest film, "Le Barrage", won the Golden Leopard for Best Short Film at the 2015 Locarno Film Festival.
