Steven Spiel

Steven entered the film industry initially as an actor, now 10 years later is now known within the industry as a writer and director specializing in creating horror/thriller feature films. Steven started like many successful writers and directors by completing short films early on in his career. Steven's first film he wrote "Addiction" was optioned by AMIS Entertainment and produced in New York USA and starred Vicky Jeudy (Orange is the New Black). "Addiction" received a theatrical release in theaters in New York and Los Angeles. The film went on to be screened at Cannes film festival within the short corner and later won a Black Reel award for "Outstanding Short Film". Steven continued to write and direct media content while owning the production company Blue Velvet Productions Pty Ltd based in Adelaide, South Australia. In 2015 Steven wrote and directed his next film "Never Forgiven" which completed a short festival run winning Best Story at the International Film & Entertainment Festival Sydney. After having success with short form content Steven focused on his film career and relocated to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia where he wrote and directed his debut feature film "Living Space". Feature film "Living Space" is highly anticipated by the horror community worldwide and is due for international release in 2018. Steven is the co-owner of Tru Dot Films Pty Ltd.
