Lorena Comparato was born on March 14, 1990 in Portugal. She is a Brazilian Portuguese-English speaking actress, artist and TV host. She is known for Globo's TV Show Pé na Cova (2013), Samantha! (2018), the first Brazilian comedy on NETFLIX; the soap opera Rock Story (2016); 'Impure' on FOX Premium; 'Men' on Comedy Central and for many other roles in Brazilian TV shows like Forbidden City (2017), 'Cine Holliudy', TOCs de Dalila (2016), E Aí... Comeu? (2016), Do Amor (2012), Open Bar (2010), Crossing the Line (2012) and others. In 2018 she starred as the young protagonist in the movie Golden Mouth (2019), by Nelson Rodrigues, directed by Daniel Filho. She won the award for best actress in the Marilia Festival for her part in the short Handebol (2010) and repeated her partnership with the director Anita Rocha da Silveira in Kill Me Please (2015), awarded/nominated by IndieLisboa, Munich, Festival of Rio and Venice Horizons. Amongst theater festivals and tours she was in many plays in Brasil like "August Osage County" (2017/2018), "Não Tô Entendendo Nada" (2017/2018), "#Broncadequê?" (2015/2016), "Blackbird" (2014), "O Decote" (2012), "Meu Amigo Bobby " (2013), "Nadistas e Tudistas" (2013) and her theater company's (Cia de 4 Mulheres) first project "Ricardo" (2013/2014). Daughter of the well-known Brazilian author Doc Comparato and the Brazilian speech coach Leila Mendes; she studied theater since she was a child. Together with her sister, the Brazilian actress Bianca Comparato, and her parents, she lived in Sintra, Portugal, for 6 years then moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She had drama classes in school (BSRJ), in college (PUC-Rio) where she graduated as a communications major, taking part of an exchange student program abroad at UCLA. Her education includes workshops with Daniel Herz, Eduardo Milewicz, Sergio Penna, Chris Newman, Marcio Libar, Arianne Minouschine, Juan Carlos Corazza, Jandiz Estrada, Cininha de Paula and many others.
