Tanase Popa

Tanase Popa is a Peabody Award and AFI Award recipient as well as a five-time Emmy®-nominated and Golden Globe®-nominated television producer at Ryan Murphy Productions. He served as the Program Director for Ryan Murphy's Half Initiative in its inaugural years and developed the initiative's Directing Mentorship Program and Internship Program. Tanase Popa has also worked at Pixar Animation Studios on the Academy Award® and Golden Globe®-winning animation film, Coco. He has served as a Company Manager to Broadway shows and national tours of Wicked, Next to Normal, Sweeney Todd, Company and Gypsy.
