Laura Lewis-Barr

Laura has a Masters in Drama and has been writing, directing, and producing theatre and film for over 15 years. Her play, Cloistered Honey was made into a low budget film through Inspirare Productions. It has been an official selection at the Red Dirt International Film Festival (nominated for Best Writing - Drama) and the Eugene International Film Festival (Awarded Best Screenplay - Feature.) Laura is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. In 2018 she began teaching herself stop motion animation. Laura has made 8 shorts which have been official selections in film festivals around the world. Laura works in her basement in Chicago with a tiny budget, mostly used to dress her very patient doll actors.
