Fred Dickson is a visual artist, harpist and actor from Nashville, Tennessee. In 2015 he won Best Comedic Actor for "The Portal" at the Artlightenment Film Festival in Nashville, TN. He co-starred in "The Ripple Effect", which premiered at the Artlightenment Film Festival in 2014 and won 2nd Place in the festival's People's Choice Awards. Other work by Dickson in 2014 included the mockumentary "The Rock Stacker" and the web series "Nature Time with Ranger Rita". In 2013 Dickson had a supporting role in "Wildcat From Outer Space" and in 2012 he appeared in the short film "Althea". In 2011 he appeared as himself in the documentary "The Mega-Hike", which followed a group of hikers attempting to hike 26 miles in a single day. He has completed the annual 26-mile trek (at Tennessee's Long Hunter State Park) four times. Dickson is a native of Burns, Tennessee.
