Peter Jensen is a graduate of AADA, where he received the Max Fisher Award. He is also an alumnus of T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre where he studied with Terry Schreiber. He studied acting with Uta Hagen and Chuck Olsen (Actor's Studio). He has performed Off-Broadway and in film and television. His New York directing credits include The Glass Menagerie at the Sanford Meisner Theatre, the New York premiere of the Canadian hit, The Wild Guys, at the Miranda Theatre, Home Free and Ludlow Fair by Lanford Wilson and Lunchtime by Leonard Melfi. Productions with The Academy Company include Lie of the Mind, Burn This, Creadeux Canvas, Biloxi Blues, Snakebit, Blood Wedding, The Wager, A Flea in Her Ear, Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya. Directing credits at T. Schreiber include Balm in Gilead (recently nominated for eight New York Innovative Theatre Awards), Joking Apart, Hurlyburly, A Taste of Honey, Marvin's Room, You Can't Take It With You, The Real Inspector Hound, The Actor's Nightmare, and Fifth of July. Prior to joining T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre as Co-Artistic Director, Peter Jensen was a member of the Core Faculty of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for over 12 years and served as the 3rd year Academy Company Director.
