Ruperto Luis Sanchez

Rupert Sanchez was born on March 16, 1985 in Houston, Texas. The son of a business owner/music composer, Sanchez discovered his love for film at the age of ten, but he had two goals for his life- become both filmmaker and soldier. He joined the U.S Army in March, 2008 and was stationed for four years in Germany, during which time he deployed for one year to Iraq as Military Police. Upon completion and with an honorable discharge, Sanchez moved back to Texas where he enrolled at Houston Community College for filmmaking, during which time he worked for a Spanish speaking Tv channel, MuyMexicano. Sanchez moved to Los, Angeles in September, 2012 where he enrolled at the New York Film Academy. Sanchez currently lives in Los, Angeles, where he continues to work as a filmmaker.
