Cleon A. James is a film writer, director, and producer. CEO and founder of Top Notch Vision Films. Cleon A. James is a native of Jamaica and a graduate of Maldon High School located in St. James, Jamaica. In 2005, he obtained a diploma in writing, directing, and producing from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. He honed his skills and sharpened his knowledge of the filming industry by studying and continuously educating himself throughout the years. He is an amazing, authentic, visual learner who consistently develops and grows with each project he produces. His level of expertise is unique due to his ability to create relatable and thought-provoking material. He debuted his first independent film Blood Shed in 2006. Cleon has a total of six full-length films, including Facing Reality (2008), Green Card (2012), Foreign Exchange (2013), Trust in God (2015), and his most recent film, Second Chance (2022) which stars international reggae artist Spragga Benz. In 2012, Cleon was awarded Boston's Most Elite and in 2014, he received the Malcolm X. Humanitarian Award for his outstanding contributions in the community. Cleon is driven towards producing movies that educate, encourage, and entertain his viewers. His goal is to consistently reach and connect with people through his movies to positively impact their lives. Cleon's passion to write scripts, direct casts, and produce films has allowed him to communicate more broadly beyond his social media platforms. His gift is to share life experiences and visually unveil resolutions that can contribute towards altering a person's life's journey.
