Evette Betancourt

Evette was born in La Mirada, California under a single parent household in La Mirada, CA. She is one of eight children and the first to graduate college with her twin sister, Cassandra Betancourt, following a year after. She is French-Mexican, with her mom's side of the family from Central Mexico. Evette is Co-Founder of Gemini Pictures and started as a writer, but became interested in Producing with Between Bullets, starring James Kyson. Evette attended UC Santa Cruz in their Creative Writing Program. After a year Evette moved back to San Diego and attended San Diego City College. While in Community College she earned an A.A. in Anthropology, A.A. in University Transfer Studies, and a Certificate of Achievement in Accounting. After Community College Evette transferred to Chapman University and graduated with a B.A. in Screenwriting.
