Tom Minier

Tom Miner was born in Bloomsburg, PA. Throughout his youth and early adulthood he was involved in a variety of projects as an actor. Storytelling was a fire that burned inside him, which led him to screenwriting, then filmmaking, and ultimately back to acting. The adage, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear," proved itself after moving to Austin, TX, where fate brought Tom to a new acting program being launched by Terry Kiser. Kiser, a student of Lee Strasberg's at the Actors Studio in New York, passed down invaluable knowledge, stories and technique, and combined it with over fifty years of Film, TV and Theater experience. This relationship would evolve from teacher, to mentor, to friend, to business partner. As the tide of the film industry receded in Texas, Minier concluded his studies in Austin under the guidance of Maurice "Moe" Moore. Moe illuminated the path to combining control with instinct, finding harmony. Now living in Atlanta, GA, acting is at the forefront of his approach, but that is not the extent of his pursuit. In mid-2018, EvoModus, LLC, was launched to be the vehicle of a variety of productions that Tom has been preparing for the past ten years. The stories that will be developed will range from the small scale, focusing on human nature and nuance, to those of epic proportions that build worlds and take the audience to the depths of their imagination. All of them are explorations of the mind and heart.
