Ridgeway Wilson attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a B.A. in Cinema Studies and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. Since her graduation in 2011, she dove headfirst into the entertainment scene through various internships, eventually landing as a producer's intern on Auction Hunters. From there she went freelance and began to produce several music videos and web series, most notably DR0NE with Executive Producer Justin Lin. Currently, she is a segment producer with Jesse Collins Entertainment whose credits include the Real Husbands of Hollywood, the BET Awards and UNCF: An Evening of Stars. In addition to producing segments for a worldwide audience, Ridgeway's passion also lies in screenwriting. In 2014, An African Western written by Ms. Wilson and fellow Ivy League graduate Chloe Castellón was an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Quater-finalist. As a young black female producer and screenwriter, Ridgeway aims to show how women and minorities are essential to the Hollywood experience by producing quality storytelling that inspires, educates and entertains at the same time. When she puts down the pen, Ms. Wilson enjoys skiing, swimming and playing her four musical instruments. Through the Jenesse Center Foundation she helps produce the Silver Rose Gala with Halle Berry that encourages victims of domestic violence to reclaim their lives. Ridgeway also mentors future generations of writers though Jenesse's screenwriting workshops.
