Christophe Alexis Braibant, born January 25, 1979 in Paris France, is a professional graphic artist, actor, and director. He became very interested in these fields early on in his life. He started practicing martial arts when he was just 7-years-old. He had always been influenced by movies with the likes of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan and later became a fan of Jean Claude Van Damme movies and physique. When he was 10-years-old, his father, who is a martial arts master, bought a camcorder to shoot some of the very first martial arts videos courses found in France back then. Around the age of twelve, Christophe started to use his father's camera to shoot short action movies and create fights choreographies with his younger brother. Eventually, his passion for acting and directing action and martial arts movies grew and he created several shorts movies with friends and family. Later, he proceeded to study story writing where he wrote a series of stories, in which he loved to direct and also play characters. He developed complex characters, which he would have loved to portrait. But, it was at this point he realized he needed to study acting more. Even though he studied acting in school, this wasn't enough as it only consisted of the basics of theatre. This prompted Christophe to start reading everything he could lay his hands on that dealt with the subject, and he also participated in various short movie projects. This helped him train and learn real acting. As he kept improving, lots of ideas kept popping into his head. His passion kept increasing, but he was still in his teen years and a restricted budget forced him to learn how to do it all by himself. He learned how to edit videos and create visual effects, so he could achieve his vision. To keep improving, he studied professional 3D CGI softwares, such as Lightwave 3D and SFX softwares, like After Effects. At first, it was just for being able to produce his own projects, but he kept getting better at it and now he works as a professional freelancer. He already participated in many independent movies, web videos, and commercials. Recently, Christophe participated in "Departure", which was the world's first multi-film project, initiated by the founders of the iPhone Film Festival. Filmed in France, Belarus, and the United States, the movie was shot entirely on an iPhone. Christophe was the VFX director on the project and was cast to play the police inspector role.
