Sandra Dee Richardson, born as Sandra Dee Crump and known as Sandra Dee is an award-winning American actress, director, and producer. Sandra Dee, whose acting career has exploded with opportunities in modeling, film, and television, has booked principle roles in numerous films over past years, is the face of numerous products and services, and her opportunities continue. Some of the dramatic, action-packed award-winning films include, "The Great Controversy Ended (2017)", "Nine Lives (2017)"," "Never Alone (2014)", "We Promised (2015)", and "Jesus, The Desire of Ages (2013). Adding more versatility to her career, Sandra Dee has recently held principle and or supporting roles on Hugh Laurie's "Chance," ID Discovery's, "Wives With Knives," and "I Almost Got Away With It." Sandra has one older sister, Kathy, two younger sisters, Anita and Belinda, one brother James and two half-sisters Melodia and Loreluna and one half-brother, Jonas. Her parents are Jonas and Lou Ann Crump. She has two sons, Craig and Brandon, stepson, Julian and stepdaughter Rachael. Sandra is from Dowagiac, a small southwest town in Michigan. She began performing on stage at the Benton Harbor High School in Benton Harbor Michigan and at the Second Baptist Church in Benton Harbor, home of the late Pastor Donald Adkins, father of the comedian Sinbad. Sandra's school and church performances gained attention to her talent in several Michigan cities. It was there that she developed a passion for the stage. In her early twenties, Sandra moved to Los Angeles where she began training at the Charles Conrad Studio, The Actor's Studio, South Coast Repertory, and Prime Time Acting Studio with Bobby Lipton. Sandra's training was a precursor to her professional acting career. Sandra's talent and determination have allowed her to be involved in various genres of entertainment from comedy to drama. Her acting and modeling career ascended, as she began working as a runway and print model and working in theater, television and film. Sandra also discovered an interest in performance dance and began training at the Debbie Reynolds dance studio where she learned jazz and other dance forms. She tested her skills while dancing with Don Cornelius' infamous Soul Train and various dance troops around Los Angeles. Sandra expanded her industry experience as Director on her film, "Nine Lives.," This film has already won an "Unfinished Film REMI Award." She also worked as Assistant Director on four other films, which won over thirteen awards accumulative. Several scripts are in treatment, so Sandra's production work seems to be never ceasing. She began giving motivational speeches at schools and community events. These performances and motivational speeches not only gave her valuable experience but also a source of great pride knowing that she was making a difference in the lives of young people like herself. Sandra dedicated her skill towards television and theater. Sandra's theatrical performances gained the respect and praise from various media including LA Times, Orange County Register and The Daily Pilot. Her dedication to her craft is evident based on the fact that she is the recipient of numerous Awards.
