James Colford

James Patrick Colford is an American producer and actor. He's originally from the West suburbs of Chicago where he worked in the fire service for 13 years. Film has been a passion of James' since his early childhood. Throughout his life he has acted in plays, shorts, television, and a musical. James pursued a bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University where he studied International Relations and double-minored in Japanese and Linguistics. After college he attended Second City, the world's premier comedy school of improvisation located in Chicago. During that time he continued to act and practice stand up at the local club, but he saw his true potential as an effective producer. Since then, James moved to Los Angeles to continue his career as a producer in film. His style is built on producing quality productions with high concepts and lean budgets. His tenacity, adaptability, and vision make him one of the most valued up-and-coming producers in Hollywood.
