Born and raised in Los Angeles Ca, Daniel Anthony Ross was an overly creative kid who started shooting short films on his best friends camcorder at the ripe young age of 10. After many years of a creative hiatus he re-emerged, figured out filmmaking was his true calling and attended the Television, Video, and Film Program at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2004 he started writing treatments and producing music videos for various independent Los Angeles area Hip-Hop artists. Since then he has worked with such artist as Cappadonna, RZA, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Hopsin, and Planet Asia to name a few. Unlike many directors Daniel thrives on the random, improvisational, reactionary, poetic, action-packed and creative aspects of filmmaking. He is now focusing on narrative storytelling and is set to be working on a number of short films, a documentary adapted from a book on historical LA, and a feature film script based on his experience working at very famous concert venue in Los Angeles.
