Born in Izmir, Turkey, Cagan Kayi went to Los Angeles, CA to study filmmaking right after completing his college education in Economics. He worked in short film projects until he finished writing his first feature screenplay. He won the Best Director award with his first feature film in IFS 2015. He writes mostly crime thriller stories.
