Carla Bellomarino

Carla is a TV Writer, Director & Producer who has worked across the development and production of a wide range of Australian TV content including scripted Emmy-award winning children's animated series Beat Bugs (Netflix), scripted comedy Fam Time (Seven Studios), nightly news comedy show Tonightly with Tom Ballard (ABC), The Project (Network Ten), sketch comedy show Open Slather (FOXTEL), Aunty Donna's comedy web series Glennridge Secondary College (Haven't You Done Well Productions). Most recently, Carla has been assisting with the development of All My Friends Are Racist, an ABC funded series, as well as writing a scripted short-form web series for Pedestrian TV x Deliveroo. In 2018, the Tonightly music video Sex Pest, which Carla both Directed & Produced, won 'Best Comedy Release' at the 2018 ARIA Awards for the ABC. Carla was a semifinalist in the 2017 Scriptapalooza TV International Screenwriting Competition in the 'Original Pilot' category, putting her original pilot dramedy script among the top 10 of the approximately 600 concepts they received.
