Oscar Marin

Oscar Marin was born in the borough of Queens in NYC on April 14 1988. He specifically grew up in Rego Park, Queens right on 67 Ave and Queens Boulevard. Growing up he was very shy but excelled in academics. He attended Saint Francis Prep. High School but began straying from academia and became more interested in his social life. He then attended college at West Virginia University, however the college social life had taken over his life and he could not continue to attend.He was accepted into SUNY College of Old Westbury where he completed his degree in Marketing in 2012. That same year Oscar Marin was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer which became an event that completely changed his life. He decided to move with his family in Orlando, Florida during treatment. During Chemotherapy sessions Oscar would watch movies to pass the time and escape his reality. Performances from Marlon Brando, James Dean, Humphrey Bogart and Al Pacino brought awe and wonder into his life. It was during these Chemo sessions that Oscar began to think about trying out acting himself. After he defeated cancer he enrolled in an acting class in The Truthful Acting Studio located in Orlando, Florida and the rest as they say is history.
