Nancy Vivar is a bilingual Mexican/American actress born in South Central Los Angeles. She is stage-trained under the direction of master teacher Gloria Gifford. Nancy has starred in Stephen Adly Guirgis "THE MOTHERF*KER WITH THE HAT", Shakespeare's "MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING" (Ursula), "ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA" (Philo), "THE COMEDY OF ERRORS" (Courtesan); she worked directly with the comedy legends Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna in the Los Angeles Stage Premiere of "LOVE ALLWAYS" (Evelyn); she also played Hattie in "LAUNDRY AND BOURBON", and starred in the original musical "DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND UP TO THE MOON". Nancy has performed with LOS HUIZACHEROS FOLKLORICO Dance Company of Los Angeles. As a thrill seeker, in her spare time she likes to skydive! Her theater company, THE GGC PLAYERS, won multiple NAACP Awards, BROADWAY WORLD nominations and VALLEY THEATER AWARDS for their stellar work on stage.
