Lucia Saldarriaga

Born Marta Lucia Saldarriaga in Medellin, Colombia, Lucia Saldarriaga is a Colombian-American actress, writer, director, model, singer and producer. She was adopted by an American family and her name was changed after her adoption. She graduated from George Washington University where she studied International Relations (focusing on Global Public Health) and Fine Art. She was a child model and first started acting as a young voice-over actor and also in commercials. She also appeared on the Gayle King Show. She first studied and trained in theater acting while she was a student at GWU, studying at Studio Theater in Washington, DC. Her stage acting career began at 13th Street Repertory in The Village in New York, NY. She spent time teaching English in an orphanage in a Buddhist Monastery in Nepal. She is also a certified Aerial Yoga Teacher. She is Reina Lady Colombia 2020. She is an advocate of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO), ACLU, Amazon Watch and LGBTQIA+ equality.
