Victor Miely started dabbling in filmmaking in late 2010 while finishing his architectural graduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After returning to his hometown of Champaign, Illinois, the initial filmmaking spark ignited a series of ever more exciting opportunities, jobs, and collaborations with the local filmmaking community. He has worked with many of the diverse and wonderful local talent in works such as his own 2012 short film, "The Job", writer/producer/director Michael Boedicker's "House of Thadeus" (2013), and the collectively produced work "The Famine" (2012). He currently (2013) is a freelance videographer/video editor for hire as well as the videographer/video editor for The News-Gazette, Inc. in Champaign, Illinois.
