George Andguladze is a bass born in Georgia in 1984. At the age of six, he sang in the Georgian Folk Choir. In 1998 he participated in the International Opera Festival "Bravo", organized by Paata Burchuladze, and he was awarded as the Youngest Participant. In 2000/2001 he won a scholarship offered by the President of the State of Georgia, Eduard Shevardnadze. In 1999 he finished his studies of piano at Zurab Andjaparidze music school. In 2002, he completed his studies at Meliton Balanchivadze in Tbilisi, where he graduated in Choral and Orchestral Conducting. In 2003 he graduated at the Accademia delle voci Verdiane in Busseto, where he also participated in some events organized by Fondazione Arturo Toscanini. Later he attended a master classes program with Renato Bruson and he graduated in lyrical singing at the Conservatory of Reggio nell'Emilia under the guidance of Mauro Trombetta. In 2009 he debuted at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara with an opera buffa by Franz Joseph Haydn, "Il mondo della luna", playing the role of Buonafede. In 2011 he debuted in Parma with "The Servant Mistress" (La serva padrona), that was later performed on the stages of Emilia Romagna. In July 2011 he participated in the Bellagio Festival, Lake Como, once again with "The Servant Mistress". In October of the same year he participated in "Il Trovatore", as "Ferrando" performed as a concert directed by Michelle Mariotti at the Teatro Verdi in Busseto and Teatro Magniani in Fidenza, inside the season of the Festival Verdi. In 2012 he debuted at the Teatro Regio di Parma with "Aida", as Ramfis, directed by Antonino Fogliani, and later as Jorg in "Stiffelio", directed by A. Battistoni. During the Festival Verdi 2012 he sang at the Teatro Regio di Parma in "Rigoletto", playing the role of Monterone, alongside Leo Nucci and Michele Pertusi and directed by Daniel Oren. He played the role of soloist in the Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi, within the thirteenth Festival of the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini of Jesi. He played Tonio in "I Pagliacci" at the Teatro Bellini in Catania and Escamillo in "Carmen" within the Luglio Musicale Trapanese in 2014. In 2015 he debuted in "L'Elisir d'Amore" as Dulcamara and in Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini. In May he took part in a Gala Concert dedicated to Strauss with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte Carlo directed by Jeffrey Tate. After that he sang the role of Escamillo of "Carmen" in the city of Moscow, role that he played as a guest of honor of the Rostropovich Foundation. In October he debuts the role of Re in "Aida" at the Teatro Sociale in Rovigo, after he participated in a Gala Concert at Philharmonic Hall Rudolfinum in Prague. In December 2015 in Seoul (Korea) at the National Theater, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts he sang the role of Escamillo in "Carmen". In January 2016, he performed the role of Re in "Aida" at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa and in march he will sing the same role at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno. In October he will debut at the Kongresove Centrum in Zlin, the role of Don Giovanni and after that he will sing in Mozart's Requiem in St.Vitus Cathedral in Prague.
