The love for the arts has been in Malcolm's life since childhood. The Newark, NJ native was thrown into the world of acting at the age of 8. Under the tutelage of actress Marie Thomas, he studied at her school The Children's Theater Workshop / Peppermint Players for 10 years. There he studied not only acting, but singing and dancing as well. It is because of this school he was able to perform on major stages from NJPAC to Madison Square Garden for the McDonald's Gospel Fest, and Radio City Music Hall. Malcolm holds a BA in Theater from Ramapo College of NJ and an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. In 2017, he was featured at the Unfix Festival in NYC as Moonlight in a new work entitled, Habitat. That same year he also featured as ensemble/principal understudy in Something like a Fairytale at the National Black Theater Festival.Recently, Malcolm was selected to be apart of the 2019 Non-Equity Acting Company at the Williamstown Theater Festival. There he was involved in numerous readings and workshops of new plays, with fellowship directors, and sang in a few cabarets. Currently, Malcolm is starring as Morton in #Love My Roomie web series.
