My Do

Born in the Philippines, and is of Vietnamese descent. My was born at a refugee camp in Morong, Bataan, Philippines. His family came to the USA when he was one. With Vietnamese being his first language, he learned most of his English by watching TV. Watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers he saw his first trailblazer Thuy Trang, giving him the courage to pursue acting, although he didn't decide to take it seriously until after he graduated High School. With the lack of Asian representation he saw as a child, and roles he got to audition for as an adult, his main goal is to create more roles for Asian Actors by screenwriting, and to accurately portray Asians on film. With his deep love for films as a child thanks to horror movies, he hopes to one day step behind the camera and direct.
