Haitham Dabbour is an Egyptian multiple award-winning journalist, scriptwriter and author. He worked as a journalist at Almasryalyoum newspaper since graduation, and made many documentaries, such as Tahrir Square: The Good, The Bad, and the Politician," a feature that premiered in Venice Film Festival, and won the UNESCO Award of 2011, the Oslo Film Festival Award. His fiction scriptwriting debut " Photocopy" premiered in 2017, won the Best Arab feature film at ElGouna film festival, Best movie at Malmo film festival and Best screenplay at Oran film festival, among other accolades. The next year he wrote "Gunshot", premiered at GFF and screened at Cairo film festival, with a positive feedback from critics and audiences. He recently wrote and produced "Eyebrows," a short film that won the best short film at ElGouna film festival 2018. His script "Ayesh" won Swairis Prize for best screenplay in 2016, and has not been produced yet. He wrote 10 books between poetry and short stories, which are among the best-selling books in Egypt. He also won the 2014 Ahmed Fouad Negm poetry award.
