Genaro Ochoa

Mexican Composer and Filmmaker. Studied composition in Mexico City at Fermatta Music Academy (2002-2006). Since 2003 he's had a productive career writing music for theater plays with over 20 scores under his belt. In 2010 he was approached by Mexican director Gibran Bazan to score Generación Spielberg (2014), continuing their collaboration with El Buquinista (2018) in 2018. Genaro is also an accomplished editor, visual effects artist and filmmaker himself, with vast experience making corporate video and numerous short films. In 2014 he wrote, produced and directed his first 'solo' short movie 'Mallorca'. Genaro has also provided additional scoring for Rosino Serrano in Treasure Hunters (2011) and Angelica (2016).
