Nikeya Young

Nikeya Young is an Actress, Singer/Songwriter, Model, Writer and Motivational Speaker. Nikeya is also a member of the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG-AFTRA). Her national television appearances include: multiple segments on Steve Harvey's daytime talk show, a small role as the Nurse on Episode 107 of NBC's hit drama "Chicago Fire", an appearance in the movie "Divergent" (2014), and the lead role of Tameka Anderson in Episode 206 of TV One's "Find Our Missing: The Tameka Anderson Story". Her portrayal of Tameka received positive reviews from family members of the Baton Rouge woman who has been missing since 2010. As an On-Camera Talent/Lifestyle Print Model, Nikeya has worked with brands such as Country Financial, Memorial Hospital, Walgreen's, Kellogg's, and Kohl's. Over the years, Nikeya has placed in the top five in the Miss Plus America beauty pageant system 3 years in a row, been featured on CBS 2 Chicago's "Someone You Should Know" segment, with critically acclaimed journalist Harry Porterfield, graced numerous fashion runways in Illinois & Wisconsin, and served as a fit/print model for clothing boutiques such as Milwaukee's Boutique Larrieux, and Chicago's vFish Designs! Her work as a fashion writer has been featured in USA Today, PLUS Model Magazine, SKORCH Magazine, Examiner.com, and Global Grind. In 2012, Nikeya was listed in the 4th Edition of "Who's Who in Black Chicago"! Nikeya recently released her debut album "Victorious One" on May 28, 2013.
