Yuuka Tano was born on March, 7th 1997, in Tokyo, Japan to Mariko and Ken Tano. The stepping stone for her career in the entertainment industry was when she joined the Japanese idol group AKB48 in 2011 and thus became part of the group's documentary movies; Documentary of AKB48: Show Must Go On (2012), Documentary of AKB48: No Flower Without Rain (2013) and Documentary of AKB48: The Time Has Come (2014). Furthermore she has also participated in the group's own variety shows, such as AKBingo! (2008- ) and AKB48 Show! (2013- ). In 2014, Tano became the first member of the group to have a mini documentary movie focusing on only her - "Namida no Riyuu." In 2017, Tano acted in the stage play "THE CIRCUS" by Akiyoshi "Tetsuhara" Nakajima. Furthermore, she also became the lead actress in the musical movie Linking Love (2017) directed by Hagijima Hiroshi.
