Jean Marie Hibben

Jean Wilcox Hibben is former Director of the Corona Family History Center and has served on the Board of the Assoc. of Professional Genealogists (and is current VP of the So. Calif. Chapter). She is or has been on the boards of the Genealogical Speakers Guild, the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors, the California State Genealogical Alliance, and the Corona Genealogical Society (where she serves as 1st Vice-President). Jean served as lead researcher on the PBS television program Genealogy Roadshow in 2013 and did research for Follow Your Path, to be aired in 2015-2016 on the Travel Channel. She maintains her own website with information about her presentations, CDs, projects, etc. A native of the Chicago suburbs and retired college professor, she is a Board Certified genealogist with a master's degree in speech communication and doctorate in folklore. Jean is a national speaker known for her entertaining, as well as informative, presentations and is a frequent writer for various genealogy publications. She appeared on the Oh! Madeline sitcom in 1983 as a square dance caller.
