Richard Mathias Fessler

Born October 2nd, 1986 in Wylee, Texas, to Peter Fessler and Laurie Dezenzo, with the given birth name of Richard Mathias Fessler II. He was named after his grandfather. Richard is also the second youngest of seven children, having three brothers and three sisters. Their names from youngest to oldest are Joseph, Michael, Stephanie, Lisa, Jessica, and Brad. He was raised in Missouri, attended high school in Apple Valley, Minnesota, and went to college in Iowa. Richard was a talented wrestler for Apple Valley High School, who started wrestling at the very ripe age of five and wrestled up until his early 20's. He was a three-time individual state champion for Apple Valley and nationally ranked as high as number two in the country during his career. Unfortunately, due to multiple injuries and orthopedic surgeries he was unable to fully pursue a college wrestling career. He determined it was time to retire from wrestling and pursue a different path in life. Richard decided to take his body to new and extreme levels of fitness. He started competing in state physique competitions in Minnesota and became involved in fitness modeling. Richard did this for 3-4 years. After coming to the conclusion that this was not the correct career path for him, he pursued a career in acting and to this day has never looked back. Falling under the wing of Bill Cooper, he became his mentor and acting coach. As a leading and supporting male actor, Richard loves all types of film. Anything from drama to sci-fi thrillers, from comedy to horror. Acting is his life but does not define him. Besides acting the most important things to him in his life are his family and friends. He would do anything for the people he loves. Personal quote, "Life is beautiful. Do what you want with it."
