Haidy Kancler

Haidy Kancler aka Maja Senekovic was born 22.6.1982 in Maribor, Slovenia. She finished University of Media and communication arts in Maribor. In 2009 her first documentary High on life!(Zadeta od lajfa!) was made. Since then she has worked in various fields of storytelling, besides films, making TV shows, advertisements, promotional videos, music videos. She works as a freelancer. Her philosophy as a director is, that experiencing and understanding the world around you enables you to put through any kind of story and tell it the best way possible. So her life is a constant exploration of being and living. Having worked mostly in the documentary genre, she is not limited only to documentaries.
