James Kambeitz

James Kambeitz is a film director, editor, scriptwriter, public speaker, television and radio producer, as well as yoga teacher. James is the owner of Upward Spiral Films, producing several short films as well as three feature length DVDs, "Ashtanga Primary Series with Basia Lipska," "Prenatal Yoga Flow with Basia Lipska," and "Mysore Magic: Yoga at the Source," a film about the home of Ashtanga Yoga, which is being distributed in over 60 countries. James directed, shot, edited and produced over 500 television programs while working as Production Manager at Dakota Media Access, was a co-founder of the Dakota Digital Film Festival. He speaks at a range of events, such as TEDxBismarck, and was the keynote speaker at the 2017 North Dakota Yoga Conference. He has a Master's Degree in Film Theory from the University of North Dakota and Post-graduate work in Cinematography at the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland. James enjoys using film as a medium to transform, heal and improve ourselves and our communities.
