Lauren Jessie Jones

Lauren began her career in the Film and TV Industry over ten years ago as an actor, when she lived in London and studied at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2013, Lauren relocated back home to Sydney and made the move to producing and directing. During this time, Lauren completed a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Production at JMC Academy, has directed and produced her own short films, documentaries and projects, and has consistently worked in the production department on numerous Films and TVC's, which have appeared on TV, online and in Festivals including Sydney Film Festival. 2018 has been an exciting year, with Lauren producing the Create NSW funded short film Tip of My Tongue (which premiered at the 2018 Sydney Film Festival as a part of the Screenability strand) whilst also taking time out to produce and now judge for the blue2blue Drone Film Festival, an international - and Australia's first - drone film Festival, based at Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast. Lauren is currently in the development stage of her first feature film as a Producer and Co- Director, Paper Doll, which is aiming to shoot late 2018/early 2019.
