Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Mary and Stephen Laskowich, Gloria is now a screenwriter/actor. Her short film "Killing Time"" was featured at the first ever MOMA new directors program in NYC. She taught filmmaking to young people in Oklahoma City before venturing to San Francisco to join San Francisco Newsreel. She was co-director film and editor for a film called "The Earth is Our Mother" about the Pitt River Indians.then The film was lost when the documentary company went out of business. Anyone who knows of a copy, please let her know. Her movie making ended when she went to college, achieving a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in Physics (1978).
