Samvedna Suwalka is an Indian Film and Theatre actress who has worked across mediums with acclaimed feature films, plays, ads, short films and web series. Her popular work includes India's one of a kind interactive crime show, Kaun? Who Did It? for India's leading e-commerce giant Flipkart, Gujarati blockbuster Bey Yaar, Natsamrat & numerous other short films. After studying acting for two years from the coveted Robert Reece, Samvedna has been actively doing theatre, films & ads and is known for acing at her versatility across formats. Samvedna Suwalka was born and brought up in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Having shown keen interest in acting, she directed and acted in her school plays to eventually start working with a local theatre group and is a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer. She went on to study M.B.B.S. in Pune and later interned at the Sion Hospital in Mumbai. Along with her medical studies, she kept working with a theatre group called Theatrecian. Her first play in Mumbai was an adaptation of renowned author Agatha Christie's Mousetrap. After exploring her passion, she has been professionally trained in acting under Rob Reece from Actors' Studio, LA and graduated as the Valedictorian of the year. She got her initial break in the movies with the blockbuster Gujarati films, Bey Yaar & Natsamrat along with doing a number of award winning short films. In addition to feature and short films, she recently ventured into the world of web series with Kaun? Who Did It? a unique, one of a kind interactive crime show for Sikhya Entertainment and India's leading e-commerce giant, Flipkart. She has worked on many ads, some prominent being these:Ads for Airtel, Safola, Dettol, Ican, Exide Life Insurance, Lakhani, Aaj tak Halla Bol with Shahrukh Khan, Navratna oil with Amitabh Bachchan, Bajaj Finserv, Chalo app, Lodha Amara Homes, The Hindu, Ajmera Realty, Fortune oil, Honda bikes, etc. Samvedna also works with the viral Youtube channel, The Comedy Factory. From time to time she dabbles in Improv Comedy. Apart from the above, she has directed an ad for Pepsi IPL, along with co-writing and co-producing the same. She also co produced and acted in a short film, 'Silly'
