Philip John Paul was born December 15 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is the son of Donald Paul, construction & home builder, and Cynthia Paul, school bus driver. He has an older brother Greg and a younger sister Brittany. Phil took his first step towards acting at the age of 9 when his parents noticed his dancing and singing ability, where he was then enrolled in dance lessons, which led to community theatre auditions. After performing in the musical "How to Eat like a Child" and "School House Rocky", he was hooked! Phil then appeared on-stage in "Oklahoma", "Cinderella", "Fiddler on the Roof", "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown", and "Lucky Stiff" he helped out with a local film "House of Purgatory". After much consideration Phil decided to move to Los Angeles where he studied at LACC Theatre academy for 2 years where he helped create and appeared in "The Untitled Warhol Project", which went on to win 6 national awards at the KCATF in 2013. Phil was also cast in "Waiting" and "Mirrors" during his time at the academy. After the Academy, Phil has continued to train taking workshops and classes when he can. He has most recently received SAG/AFTRA eligibility for working on Disney's Liv and Maddie. Phil has appeared on both single and multi - camera shows as a guest, photo double, and stand-in. Beyond acting, Phil is also building his modeling career. He has most recently worked with Maureen McFadden "Mo-Mik Photography "on building a portfolio for both to use for future successes. He most recently worked with Tim Chan "Chief Editor of Corduroy Magazine" as a Production/Style Assistant for Rune NYC's e-commerce photo-shoot. Phil is always looking to grow, learn, inspire, and be inspired while doing what he loves! His favorite sports include soccer, hiking, skiing, tennis, and eventually surfing. Phil enjoys playing the piano and trumpet when he can. But most of all, he spends his free time in the kitchen taking after his mother and both grandmothers creating new recipes whether it be food or drinks, and sharing them with his friends and family.
