Clarke Scott

A writer, director and filmmaker from Australia. Clarke was a Buddhist monk trained in the Tibetan tradition and has studied directly under the Dalai Lama. Before becoming a monk Clarke studied music at a prestigious Australian music school before dropping out to concentrate on philosophical and contemplative studies. Fifteen years later while in India doing research for a PhD in philosophy, Clarke began shooting short films on a Canon 5d as a creative expression of his philosophical endeavors. This in turn has led to him to take up filmmaking as a serious means of expressing his thoughts and ideas on eternal philosophical truths. Since then Clarke has gone on to work as a commercial director, director of photography, and editor in Australia.
