Originally from London, Ontario, Jess cultivated an early interest in acting that started with performing Garfield comics for her family at the dinner table. Since then, Jess has been fortunate enough to study Shakespeare with the late Bernard Hopkins of the Stratford Festival Theatre, at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio in Los Angeles, with the prolific coach Larry Moss, at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC, and at studios throughout Vancouver, British Columbia. Jess is passionate about creating subversive experiences for audiences that explore all facets of the human condition. When she isn't acting, Jess loves reading books of all kinds, exploring languages and other cultures, playing video games, listening to excessive amounts of music, watching Critical Role with her beloved dude, training in fighting and dancing, and listening to the rain.
