Cara Dougherty

Cara Doughtery was born in Louisville, Colorado on May 31st, 1981. She was born to Patrick and Ellen Dougherty as one of six children. While attending Centauras High School, Cara competed and captained school gymnastics while only a freshman. Cara also participated in the DECA business club. Going into her collegiate years, Cara attended North Carolina State where she was named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic team in 2000. After returning from a back injury in 2000, Cara went on to compete from 2001-2002. After her sports career, Cara delve acting with a stint in a Verizon Commercial and an episode of the religious broadcast Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural". She made her first film debut in the television drama A Way Back Home (2013).
