His 2018 release includes Kannada drama Iruvudellava Bittu. His films got 2 state film awards for 'Jalsa' and 'Iruvudellava Bittu' movies He started his film career as an assistant director. He made his directional debut in 2017 with Jalsa starring Niranjan Wadayarr, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu kokila and Akanksha. His next movie 'Iruvudellava bittu' with Shree mahadev and Meghana Raj was released on 21 September 2018 and received huge applause from critics and audience. Kantha Kannalli's upcoming film is with starring S. Mahendar, Meghana Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Nataranga and Sonu gowda titled 'Shabda' under Vijay Productions.
