Andrellos Mitchell was born on May, 5 in Monroe, Louisiana. Andrellos was born in the middle-class home of his grandparents, the Reverend Eddie Mitchell and his wife, Mary Mitchell. His parents were Herman and Edna. Andrellos would leave Louisiana at nearly 5 years old. Over the years, although he frequently returned to Louisiana, Andrellos grew up in Washington, D.C, and Maryland. From an early age Andrellos loved watching TV shows like Gunsmoke, Star Trek, and the Six Million Dollar Man in the 1970s. As his interest in acting grew, he told his mom about it. She told him to go to college and get his education and then he could become whatever else he wanted. Andrellos would earn a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and a Doctorate of Law, all by age 28. At some point while practicing law Andrellos explained to his lawyer friends how sometimes work would be slow. Around the year 2000, his friend Jim, encouraged him to try acting to stay prepared for the courtroom while waiting for work to pick up. That's when Andrellos' interest in acting was renewed. He has pursued it as a hobby ever since. Although a non-union actor, Andrellos has studied acting by watching acting films, reading numerous acting books and manuals, as well as by watching award -winning films, and studying great actors such as Gary Cooper, Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, Sidney Poitier, and Denzel Washington just to name a few. Andrellos has acted in Independent Film, Public Service Announcements, and Television Promotions. He has also worked as a background actor on big budget films such as Salt with Angelina Jolie, and State of Play with Ben Affleck. He has also done background work on television shows such as The West Wing with Martin Sheen, The District, VEEP, and The Blacklist. His first main speaking role was in the Independent Film, Franky's Heaven.
