Matthew Alexander Swanson

Matthew Alexander Swanson was born in St. Catharines, Canada in 1970. He grew up in the Niagara Region where he still resides today. Ever since he learned how to speak, Swanson had the ability to mimic voices. Matt graduated Ryerson University in Toronto with a BAA degree in Radio and Television Arts in 1992. He quickly found work in Radio where he honed his voice acting skills until the year 2000. In 2001 Matt found representation in Toronto and landed his second ever audition. He provided the voice for a young martial arts student who fights his master for the honor of eating not one, but two Dairy Queen Bacon Double Cheeseburgers. The ad is titled "Crouching Tiger Hidden Cheeseburger" and can still be viewed on YouTube. His life took an interesting turn in 2001 when he chose to go back to Brock University in St. Catharines. He graduated with a degree in Accounting in 2006 and worked as a Staff Accountant in St. Catharines until 2011. He left Accounting to pursue voice acting full time.
