Paula Hopf

Paula Hopf (Mexico City 1988) studied Directing at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City. She has directed fiction and documentary short films which have been in the official selection of numerous national and international film festivals and have been awarded with prizes such as: "Light years", official selection at the International Chilean Short Film Festival in Santiago FESANCOR, the Cinema da Mare Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival and Sydney Latin American Film Festival; "La casa de Los Lúpulos", nominated for the Ariel for the Best Documentary Short Film, semifinalist in the Student Oscars, Monsieur Guillaume Award at FIDCOS, Best Documentary Short Film at the Merida and Yucatan Film Festival, Special Mention at FICUNAM and at the José Rovirosa Award and "Velvet" which premiered at the International Film Festival in Guadalajara in 2018.
